Dealing With Hardwood Spills & Stains

Hardwood is not especially vulnerable to spills and stains, which is ideal for homeowners. You may opt for a hardwood floor cleaner is useful in removing marks or scuffs, but always pretest any new substances before using them on your floors. Never use soaps or ammonia cleaners on your hardwood floors because it will affect the luster. 

Hardwood floors should not be cleaned with excessive water as they can expand. Be wary of this if you're considering mopping. Hardwood floors are durable and a little care will go a long way.
